Welcome to my blog!

Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog! I’m very new to this whole blog thing! My name is Marta and I'm
twenty-two years old, I live in Castalla a small city of Alicante (Spain), and I've finished my degree in
English Studies at the University of Alicante. Now, I'm studying a master's degree in Education that I
hope it will help me to work as a teacher in high schools. I would like that very, very much.

Outside my educational life, I have a love for action films, science fiction books, ballroom dance, 
ballet, and children. My friends will tell you that I am a positive, truthful and outgoing person. As I'm
really friendly, I use new technologies, in particular, social networks such as Instagram, Twitter, and
Facebook to be in contact with all my friends. I must confess that I'm in love with YouTube since I'm
always using it. I think it is a great tool for entertaining and learning. I use websites in my daily life
not just to implement my knowledge in my field of study, but also to learn new things. So, this blog is
a place for me to share with my classmates about my knowledge about ICT and Classroom
Dynamics for CLIL.

Blogs for teaching English!

When I was in high school, my Valencian teacher used to upload the information of the unit in a Blog. She used Wordpress. I remember that, as it was innovative, my classmates and I were really interested. In my opinion, blogs are really important in today's world since it gives you and your students great opportunities to learn through different ways. I teach English in supportive lessons and I use different blogs that  provide me useful material. One of this blogs is Valme's English Corner (http://valmeenglishcorner.blogspot.com.es/). It is a blog written by an English teacher. She uses blogspot and she uploads information related with the unit for their students, but also teacher resources. It's really helpful!!

It is a famous website that provides a variety of permissions to manage content, data or information of a website project, or intranet application. As an English philologist, I think I need to remark that Joomla is a multilingual platform that offers more than 70 languages. Joomla is really popular not only because it is free, but also because this webpage contains interesting features such as: personalize your webpage, the use of different templates, articles management, etc. One of the best options that offers this webpages is that you can add extensions.
